5-Ingredient Brownies

This vegan brownie, made with just five ingredients, is incredibly easy to prepare. It’s fudgy, soft, chocolatey, sweet, and satisfying—an ideal dessert that even kids will adore. Plus, it’s paleo, Whole30, gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan.

  • 4 medium ripe bananas or 3 large ones
  • 1/2 cup creamy almond butter
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp apple pie spice
  • 2 tbsp almond flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9″ x 9″ baking sheet.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  3. Gently mix in the almond butter.
  4. Add the cocoa powder and apple pie spice, combining the dry and wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the almond flakes gently.
  6. Pour the batter onto the baking sheet and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, checking with a toothpick for a crumbly finish.
  8. Allow it to cool before serving.
